About AnyPic

What the app is, who it is for, and where it runs.

What is AnyPic?

AnyPic is an iPhone app for creating and editing images with AI. It has three parts: Discover, with 49 guided photo trends such as action figures, anime portraits, retro photos, professional headshots, virtual try-ons and photo restoration; Create, which turns a text prompt into images; and Studio, a layer-based editor with AI tools such as background removal, object removal, relighting, upscaling and expanding a photo. AnyPic runs on leading AI image models through fal.ai and uses credits, and new users get 50 welcome credits.

What can I make with AnyPic?

You can turn your own photos into collectible figurines, action figures, plushies, anime and 3D animated portraits, retro and film-camera photos, magazine covers, movie posters, professional headshots and holiday portraits; put yourself in another city; try on outfits, hairstyles and tattoos; redesign a room; make studio product shots and marketplace listing photos; restore, colorize, relight or upscale old photos; turn a pet into a royal portrait or a person; make sticker packs, video thumbnails, posters, phone wallpapers and album covers; and create any image from a text prompt. Every result can be edited further in the Studio editor.

Which devices does AnyPic run on?

AnyPic is an app for iPhone with iOS 17 or later. It is distributed through the App Store. There is no Android version and no web version; this website describes the app but does not create images.

Do I need to create an account to use AnyPic?

No. AnyPic does not ask for a name, email address or phone number. The first time you open the app it creates a random installation ID and secret, stored in your iPhone’s Keychain, which the service uses to recognize your installation, credits and purchases.

Who can use AnyPic?

Under the AnyPic Terms of Use you must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use AnyPic only with a parent or guardian’s permission, and purchases are subject to Apple’s family and parental controls.

Create and Studio

Prompt-to-image, and the layer-based editor.

Can AnyPic create images from a text prompt?

Yes. On the Create tab you describe what you want, or tap Surprise me, then choose a look (Auto, Photoreal, Cinematic, Illustration, Anime, Product, Portrait or 3D), a model, the format and how many images to make. The credit cost is shown before you start, and a generation that fails is refunded automatically.

What can the AnyPic Studio editor do?

Studio is a layer-based editor for iPhone. A canvas holds image, text, shape and drawing layers that you can move, resize, rotate, reorder, lock and adjust. Image layers take non-destructive crop, flip, 14 filter looks and adjustments for exposure, brightness, contrast, saturation, warmth, tint, highlights, shadows, sharpness, vignette and grain, and there is an eraser, color grading and free Pexels stock photos. AI tools include remove background, magic background, remove object or generative fill, enhance (2× upscale), relight with 18 lighting styles, Edit with AI (describe a change, by typing or dictation), AI image layers and expanding the canvas to a new format. Every generated version is kept, so you can go back to an earlier take.

Which AnyPic editing tools are free?

Everything that runs on your iPhone is free: adjustments, filters, crop, the eraser, text, graphics, drawing, on-device background removal and exporting. AI tools that run in the cloud use credits and show their cost on the tool before you use it; for example, on a 1K image the Studio tool strip shows magic background at 8 credits, remove object at 6, enhance at 16 and relight at 8.

How do I export from AnyPic, and at what resolution?

Export is done on your iPhone and is free. You can export PNG, JPEG or HEIC at 1K or 2K, or at 4K on the Pro plan, optionally with a transparent background, then save to Photos or share. Every export is also kept in your AnyPic Library. The free plan exports up to 2K with a small “Made with AnyPic” watermark; the Creator and Pro plans have no watermark.

Does AnyPic label images as AI-generated?

Yes. Exported images carry an IPTC “trained algorithmic media” label in their metadata, which identifies them as AI-generated. The AnyPic Terms of Use note that images exported from AnyPic may be labeled as AI-generated.

Does AnyPic add a watermark?

Exports on the free plan include a small “Made with AnyPic” watermark. The Creator and Pro plans export without a watermark.

AI models

Which models AnyPic uses and how it picks them.

Do I choose the AI model in AnyPic?

For trends and Studio tools, AnyPic picks the model: each trend is built on one model chosen for that job, and each tool uses a model suited to it. On the Create tab you can choose the model yourself or let AnyPic pick one for the look you selected.

Credits, plans and pricing

What things cost, how credits work, and what happens when something fails.

How do credits work in AnyPic?

AI features in AnyPic use credits, and each one shows its credit cost before you start. Credits are held when a job starts, charged only if it succeeds, and refunded automatically if it fails. Everything that runs on your iPhone, such as adjustments, filters, crop, text and exporting, is free. New users get 50 welcome credits, once per device.

How many credits does an AnyPic trend cost?

Trends start at 7 to 18 credits for one image, depending on the model and settings; 16 credits is the most common starting price. The exact cost is shown on the trend before you tap Create, and making more images at once costs proportionally more.

How much does AnyPic cost?

AnyPic is free to download, and new users get 50 welcome credits. Credit packs cost $4.99 for 300 credits, $14.99 for 1,000 credits, $29.99 for 2,000 credits and $59.99 for 4,000 credits. The Creator plan costs $9.99 a month or $109.99 a year and includes 600 credits a month, 2K exports and no watermark. The Pro plan costs $24.99 a month or $259.99 a year and includes 1,500 credits a month, premium models and 4K. These are US prices; the App Store shows the price in your country before you buy.

Does AnyPic have a free trial?

No. AnyPic plans have no free trial and are paid from the first day. Instead, every new user gets 50 welcome credits to try trends and AI tools before buying anything.

What is the difference between the AnyPic Free, Creator and Pro plans?

Free: 50 welcome credits once per device, 1 generation at a time, up to 2 images per request, up to 2K generation and export, and a watermark on exports. Creator: 600 credits a month, 2 generations at a time, up to 4 images per request, up to 2K, no watermark. Pro: 1,500 credits a month, 4 generations at a time, up to 4 images per request, up to 4K generation and export, no watermark, and premium models.

Do AnyPic credits expire?

Credits from credit packs and welcome credits do not expire while AnyPic is offered. Subscription credits are added each month, and any unused subscription credits expire when the next month’s credits are added. When you run something, subscription credits are used first.

What happens to my credits if a generation fails in AnyPic?

You get them back automatically. Credits are held when a job starts and charged only if it succeeds; if it fails or is blocked, they are refunded, and your history in the app shows the refund. If a job returns fewer images than you asked for, you pay only for the images you got.

How do I cancel an AnyPic subscription?

AnyPic subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose AnyPic, or visit apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge. Deleting your AnyPic account does not cancel a subscription.

Can I get a refund for an AnyPic purchase?

Payments are processed by Apple, so refunds for App Store purchases are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If a purchase is refunded, the credits or plan benefits it provided may be removed. Separately, credits for a failed generation are refunded automatically in the app.

Privacy and your data

What leaves your iPhone, what stays, and how to delete it.

Does AnyPic store my photos?

AnyPic’s servers do not store your photos or prompts. When you run an AI feature, the photos, masks, prompts and settings you choose are sent through AnyPic’s server to its AI processing provider, fal.ai, to create the result; finished images are delivered through links hosted by fal.ai and saved on your iPhone, and fal.ai may keep inputs and results for a limited time to deliver them. Your projects, Library, edits and exports stay on your device.

Does AnyPic show ads or track me?

No. AnyPic has no ads, does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and does not sell or share your personal information. Purchase and subscription events are shared with RevenueCat for revenue analytics, and Apple’s AdServices attribution is used to measure AnyPic’s own App Store ad campaigns.

What data does AnyPic collect?

According to the AnyPic Privacy Policy: the random installation ID; the photos, masks and text you submit to AI features, which are processed but not stored on AnyPic’s servers; task and credit records such as the feature and model used, settings, status and credits charged or refunded; purchase details from Apple, never your payment details or Apple ID; a DeviceCheck value so welcome credits are given once per device; stock photo search terms, sent to Pexels; fonts you pick in the text tool, downloaded from Google Fonts; and technical data such as IP addresses processed by Cloudflare to deliver and protect the service.

How do I delete my AnyPic account and data?

In the app, go to Me, then Settings, then Delete Account. This permanently deletes your task history, credits and account data from AnyPic’s servers, and your projects and Library from your iPhone. AnyPic keeps only a minimal record to prevent fraud and duplicate credits, such as one-way hashes of processed App Store transactions and whether welcome credits were already claimed. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription.

Which iPhone permissions does AnyPic use?

AnyPic uses the camera, photo library and microphone only when you use a feature that needs them, and only with your permission: the camera to take a photo for a trend or project, the photo library to add photos and save exports, and the microphone while you dictate an Edit with AI instruction. The audio of dictation is not sent to AnyPic’s servers.

Who owns the images I make with AnyPic?

Under the AnyPic Terms of Use you keep your rights in the photos and text you submit, and as between you and AnyPic you may use the images you create for any lawful purpose; to the extent AnyPic has rights in them, it assigns those rights to you. AI results can resemble content created for others, and you remain responsible for having permission to use the photos and likenesses you submit.

Comparisons

How AnyPic’s approach differs, stated as facts about AnyPic.

How is AnyPic different from making images in a general AI chat app?

AnyPic is built only for images. Instead of writing a prompt from scratch, you pick a trend that already has a tested prompt, guided photo inputs with example photos and tips, and style options; results can then be edited on a layer-based canvas with AI tools, exported up to 4K on Pro, and kept in a Library on your iPhone. AnyPic also uses several image models and picks one per task, and shows the credit cost of each action before it runs.

How does AnyPic compare with other AI photo apps?

AnyPic combines three things in one iPhone app: 49 guided trends, prompt-to-image creation with a choice of models, and a layer-based editor with AI tools. It uses 34 models through fal.ai rather than a single model, charges per action in credits shown up front, refunds failed generations automatically, has no ads, and has no free trial but gives new users 50 welcome credits. Which app suits you best depends on the images you want to make.
